Our Talking Therapies service offers free, evidence-based support for adults experiencing common mental health challenges such as anxiety, stress and low mood.
Delivered in partnership with CNWL Foundation NHS Trust, therapy is tailored to each person and designed to help you understand what you’re going through and move towards feeling better.

- Registered with a Westminster GP or living in Westminster
- Experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress or trauma-related challenges
- People looking for short-term, structured support

We can help with
- Feelings of low mood or sadness
- Stress or anxiety
- Difficulty managing worrying
- Social anxiety

- Flashbacks of traumatic events
- Excessive washing or checking
- Struggles with feelings linked to a long-term medical condition
What we offer
- Free 1-1 counselling sessions, lasting 6-12 weeks
- Regular weekly sessions that last for 50 minutes, online or in person
- Daytime and evening appointments
- We offer a range of treatment options to support you, including talking therapy, counselling for depression, and interpersonal therapy
What to expect from the service
- An initial assessment to understand what you’re experiencing and what support might help
- A confidential, non-judgemental space to talk about what’s going on for you
- Consistency: you’ll meet with the same therapist each week
- If you opt for in-person sessions, they can take place at Monck Street, Maida Vale, or Praed Street
