Joint Statement from Kick The Stigma and Allkind Mental Health
The third annual Kick The Stigma Football Tournament has wrapped up, and what a day it was.
Timed to coincide with the start of the 2026 World Cup, the tournament brought together companies from across London for a day of football, competition, and something far more important: a shared commitment to tackling men’s mental health.
This year’s tournament was the first hosted under the Allkind Mental Health name, marking a new chapter in a partnership that has been building momentum since the very first kick-off.
Congratulations to BDO (2), this year’s tournament winners.
They took home the trophy and, as a little extra, each player got to choose a Kick The Stigma hair product. A small token, but one that carries a whole mission with it.
The day had everything you’d want: penalties, a record scoreline, two lost balls, some healthy tension on the pitch, and the kind of energy that only comes when people genuinely care about why they’re there.

While there may have been plenty of competition on the pitch, this event is about so much more than football. It’s about bringing companies across London together and raising awareness of mental health and the need to speak out and seek support.”
So far:
- 20 companies have taken part in the tournament
- Over £5,000 raised in total for frontline mental health services
- Every penny goes directly to services run by Allkind Mental Health
This year we raised £1,500, which will help lots of people in the London area access the mental health support they need. This can equate to life changing support.
Kick The Stigma was never just about football. It was built to use sport as a vehicle for a bigger conversation. Men are three times more likely to die by suicide than women. Suicide remains the biggest cause of death for men under 35 in the UK. Events like this exist to chip away at that reality, one game at a time.
