FAQs
What is the registration fee and how much do I have to fundraise?
Our charity places have a registration fee of £100 and minimum fundraising target of £2,200.
Why do I have to pay a registration fee?
Charity running places come at a cost to the charity. Fundraising targets and registration fees ensure we don’t lose out on our investment and raise as much as possible to support our work. Registration fees for charity places in events are non-refundable and non-transferrable. We cannot transfer places to another person or defer a place to the following year.
I have a ballot place with London Marathon and would like to fundraise for Allkind, can I do this, and will I have a fundraising target?
Congratulations on securing a place in the ballot – we would love to have you on the team! Please email fundraising@allkind.org.uk only if you have already secured a ballot place with London Marathon Events.
As an own place runner, you won’t have a fundraising target. We just ask that you raise as much as you can!
How are places offered out?
We review each application anonymously before making a decision. To improve your chances, please provide as much detail as possible about why you want to support Allkind and your fundraising plans.
Will there be a deadline to raise £2,200 by?
You will have a 50% (£1,200) fundraising deadline of Friday 18th December 2026 (4 months pre-event). The full £2,200 target is required by May 28th 2027 (1 month after the event).
What happens if I don’t reach the £2,200 target?
We set a £2,200 minimum fundraising target to cover the costs the charity has paid for the place and help sustain our vital services.
Many donations come in during on during event week or after. You don’t need to raise the full amount until 1 month after event day. We will be in touch throughout your journey to give fundraising tips and ideas.
Please make sure you’re confident you can raise the £2,200 before you apply.
